Approve resolution authorizing a contract with Aquatic Chemical Solutions for the Re-plaster of the Erie Community Center pool and hot tub and authorize the Town Administrator to sign said contract.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

In the 2017 budget, the Board of Trustees authorized $59,000.00 for the purchase of new and replacement pool re-plaster for the Erie Community Center (ECC). Staff has determined that the plaster is in need of replacement based on the following criteria:
* Age - the plaster to be replaced is 9 years old, life span is 7-10 years
* Wear and Tear - High traffic areas (lazy river and natatorium) are showing signs of wear and tear.
* Stains - Many areas have been stained due to age, chemicals, and wear and tear
* Repairs - replacement patches have been put in around lazy river, natatorium, and lap areas to fix chips in plaster. Repair patches only last a year or so resulting in having to consistently get patches redone.

Areas of installation include: Entire pool surface area and hot tub.
Staff reviewed multiple different vendor bids for pool and hot tub re-plaster:
