Representatives of the Erie Airpark Homeowners Association (HOA) will provide a presentation and discuss concerns related to proposed airport fee structures previously recommended by the Airport Economic Development Advisory Board (AEDAB) and presented to Town Council.
BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Erie Airpark HOA has requested an opportunity to present a 2012 white paper memorandum regarding residential through-the-fence (TTF) access rights at Erie Municipal Airport. The document outlines the HOA's interpretation of recorded easement rights, FAA policy in effect at that time, and the relationship between airport access, fees, airport operations, and grant assurance compliance. Key topics discussed in the white paper include:
• Historical development of the Erie Airpark easement structure and TTF access agreements.
• FAA policies regarding existing residential TTF access arrangements.
• Recovery of airport operating costs and fee structures applicable to TTF users.
