This item is for professional services to update the Town of Erie’s Water Strategic Plan.

The Town interviewed three consultants and selected Freese and Nichols to award the contract.

It is in front of Council due to the contract amount being in excess of $100k.

BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

The Town of Erie last updated its Water Strategic Plan in 2018, the effort was completed in 2020. The Town’s water plan should be updated approximately every 5 years. The updated Plan will give the Town a better understanding of current and projected demands, system performance and shortcomings, will inform the Town’s Capital Improvement Plan, and will provide the Town with an Asset Management Plan for ongoing operations, maintenance, and replacement.
