SUMMARY/KEY POINTS
The Rocky Mountain Region is an area noted for high radon potential. Public Health agencies encourage all homeowners to test for and mitigate radon, which is a leading cause of environmental cancer. Testing is simple and inexpensive.
Through this proclamation the Council encourages residents to be informed of the dangers or radon, and complete any necessary mitigation.
