SUMMARY/KEY POINTS

Current 6” waterline is not sufficient size for demands.

                     Replace with new 12” waterline.

BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

On Aug. 11, representatives from the Town met with JOC Construction on-site to review the existing reclaimed water system and discuss ongoing concerns with pressure performance and irrigation reliability. During this walkthrough, the Town provided valuable input on areas most impacted by pressure loss and reduced watering efficiency, particularly in landscaped zones reliant on reclaimed water.

The line is used for irrigation with reuse water to nearby HOA’s and the Erie Community Park. Currently the 6-inch line is causing a restriction in flow because both upstream and downstream sections of the system are larger. Upsizing this section to the right size as the rest of the system will allow for proper flow dynamics so the pumped system can function properly at the Erie Community Park.
