SUMMARY/KEY POINTS
* Town Council directed staff to bring forward a Resolution to study the feasibility of connecting County Line Road/Arapahoe Road to CO 7.
* Staff met with one of its on-call consultants to develop the scope and fee covered by this Resolution.
* This Resolution authorizes the feasibility study to move forward, recognizing that the budget will be appropriated in the 2025 supplemental budget later this year.
BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Town Council is concerned with roadway connections in the southern portion of Town particularly south County Line Road to Colorado State Highway 7. The Council wants to evaluate alternative roadway connections to Highway 7. This study will research the feasibility including crossings, environmental concerns, FAA regulations, and an alignment to Highway 7 from County Line Road/Arapahoe Road in the vicinity of the Erie Municipal Airport.
