BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Council approval of the resolution authorizes execution of an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with Mile High Flood District (MHFD) to implement final vegetation establishment for the Prince Lake Tributary project (Tract G-1 in Flatiron Meadows). MHFD, the Town of Erie, and Hines-the developer-have partnered to fund and complete this final acceptance phase. Hines has agreed to provide $90,000, which has already been transferred to the Town, which the Town will then transfer to MHFD upon execution of the agreement. MHFD will then proceed with vegetation establishment to meet final acceptance standards and will develop a long-term vegetation management plan.
