SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Town of Erie applied for and was awarded a DRCOG TIP grant for the design of intersection safety improvements and a multimodal trail on CO 52. The intersections include CO 52 and Weld County Roads 5 and 7. This also includes improvements needed for the intersection of the Summerfield entrance access & the Wyndham entrance access from CO 52 between County Roads 5 and 7. The project work includes preliminary design and analyzing the ROW needed for a multi-use trail on the north side of the highway.
Per CDOT process, before beginning the project, the Town and CDOT must enter into a contract as CDOT will oversee the grant and related funds.
