SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

The current Airport Capital Improvement Projects includes design and construction for concrete rehabilitation on the Taxiway A, Runway 16/34, and apron areas. This grant covers the State’s funding for the Main Apron and Taxiway A rehabilitation. Work includes removing and replacing concrete pavement, and replacing tie down anchors and pavement markings.

 

The project is funded through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for 90%, Colorado Division of Aeronautics (CDOA) for 5% and the Town of Erie for 5%.
