Summary and Background of Subject Matter:
Many Homeowner’s Associations (HOAs) in Erie contain pocket parks on land owned by the Town of Erie but maintained by the HOA. The Town owns the subject property that currently houses the VPHOA’s pocket park. If the Board of Trustees approves Resolution 23-059, the Town and the VPHOA will enter into a Reimbursement Agreement that requires the HOA to take ownership of the property in order to seek reimbursement of funds for the update of the playground on the subject property.
The attached ordinance is to authorize the transfer of property to the Vista Pointe Homeowner’s Association (VPHOA) in order for the Association to make improvements to the pocket park playground on the property.
