Summary and Background of Subject Matter:
Historic Preservation Advisory Board (HPAB) member, Daniel Meyer, resigned from the advisory board on August 8, 2022. Mike Turner, HPAB Chair, asked the Town Clerk’s Office to contact applicants from the May 2022 recruitment who were not appointed to the advisory board to ask if interest still existed in serving on the board. Two (2) of those applicants indicated they were still interested in serving at which time the Town Clerk’s Office forwarded those applications to HPAB for review and selection at the next advisory board meeting on August 22, 2022.
At the August 22, 2022, HPAB meeting, members unanimously agreed to appoint Brittany Jones and to recommend the Board of Trustees ratify the appointment at the September 27, 2022, Regular Board of Trustees Meeting.
