Summary and Background of Subject Matter:
A self-evaluation and transition plan are needed to ensure compliance with the current ADA codes. The scope includes conducting a survey to identify both nonphysical and
physical obstacles that could potentially limit accessibility; identify and describe possible
methods to improve accessibility and compliance; make recommendations related to
prioritization; and provide budgetary estimates to achieve compliance.

The survey and audit include:
? Reviewing and evaluating policies, programs, activities, and services (under Title
II) for physical and nonphysical barriers to accessibility
? Conducting a survey and auditing municipal facilities, sidewalks, parks, and trails
including interior and exterior features
? Providing opportunities for public input and engagement
? Providing cost estimates and helping to prioritize action items including policies, the Town website, municipal facilities, sidewalks, parks and trails, including interior and exterior features of all of these elements, that might limit use or accessibility to those with disabilities, and develop a comprehensive Transition Plan for any improvements.

This project is expected to be phased over four fiscal years starting in 2022 and completing in 2025.
