SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Town of Erie Urban Renewal Authority (“TOEURA”) is comprised of board members including one board member of a “special district selected by agreement of the special districts levying a mill levy within the boundaries of the urban renewal authority area" (the "Special District Position"). The Special District Position is currently vacant. The special districts levying a mill levy within the boundaries of the urban renewal authority area have forwarded the name of Owin Orr, an elected board member of the 232 Metropolitan District to fill the Special District Position vacancy. The Mayor, with the consent of the Board of Trustees, desires to appoint Owin Orr to be a board member of the TOEURA to fill the Special District Position.
