SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Tony Gambee, the founder and owner of Latitude Software and Woodward Barber (two Downtown Erie businesses), is opening a co-working space at 660 Briggs St. He was awarded financial assistance from the Town in May of 2021 to support building renovations necessary to convert his existing offices to a functional co-working space. In return, Tony has agreed to open and operate the co-working space and allow desk space for up to fifteen Town employees. Due to supply chain and labor market challenges, Tony has requested to amend the date of delivery from September 1st, 2021 to December 31st, 2021.
The proposed amendment would amend the delivery date and also extend the term-and the Town’s ability to use the co-working space-for an equivalent 4 months.
