Approve the Resolution to award said contract, authorize the appropriate Town officer to execute said contract, authorize staff to expend construction funds and contingency funds.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The need for this new waterline connection was identified in the Town's Water Master Plan. The Erie Commons Development is in water pressure Zone 2. This area of Zone 2 is primarily served from pressure reducing vales (PRV's) from water pressure Zone 3. This connection will provide an additional direct connection to the Zone 2 water distribution system. Water feeding through the PRV's is pumped to Zone 3 then the pressure is reduced to feed Zone 2. This connection will allow water to be feed by gravity, reducing the volume of water pumped, which will provide a more reliable system with reduced energy costs. This project will also convert a Zone 2, 12-inch waterline on the west side of County Line Road north of Erie Parkway to Zone 3 which will provide a needed waterline for the Town Center development northwest of County Line Road and Erie Parkway.
At the June 9, 2020 Board Meeting the Board of Trustees approved a Change Order to an existing consultant agreement with RESPEC to redesign and prepare bid documents for the Austin Ave Water Main project.
