Staff will present information on setbacks from Oil and Gas facilities that are currently adopted by various jurisdictions for the purpose of providing information to the Board of Trustees.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Chapter 10-6-14 of the Unified Development Code currently establishes setbacks from existing oil and gas facilities that apply to land development projects to maintain separation between existing oil and gas facilities and new land development. The Board of Trustees has requested information about the setbacks from different Oil and Gas Facilities used by various jurisdiction that are applied to land development projects.
Setbacks that apply to Oil and Gas operators are currently address in Chapter 12 of the Unified Development Code.
Based on the discussion of this information and Board direction, staff will prepare an Ordinance for consideration to amend section 10-6-14 of the Unified Development Code.
