Summary and Background of Subject Matter:
The Erie Municipal Airport (KEIK) is a significant asset to the Town located along State Highway 7. The Town partners with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Colorado Division of Aeronautics (CDOA) regarding capital projects and funding for the Airport. The FAA requires each airport to have a Consultant of Record that helps the municipality with grant applications, design and management of capital projects over the next five years.

Fees and scope of work are identified and negotiated as each project begins. Once agreed upon, a grant application is submitted to either the FAA, CDOA, or both depending upon the project. Each grant application is brought to the Board individually for acceptance. The proposed projects identified for the next five years include:

? Pavement Maintenance (awarded in 2020)
? Construct Apron, Taxilanes, and Taxiways
? Rehabilitate Apron, Taxilanes, and Taxiways
? Runway Rehabilitation
? Hangar Development
? AWOS Upgrade
? Airfield Electrical Maintenance and Rehabilitation

All projects are dependent upon FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP), CDOA, and Town joint funding. Therefore, it shall be understood that some of the services related to the above listed projects may be deleted or modified. The Town may initiate additional services not included in the initial procurement.

Fiscal Impact: This agreement does not include any monetary commitment. Individual agreements will be presented to the Board for award for each project as they happen.
