Appoint Joshua VanAuken and Andrew Horovitz to the Board of Adjustment (BOA) to fill vacancies from 2020

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Board of Adjustment meets on an “as needed” basis. The Town has received an appeal of a decision by the Planning Director, so the BOA will need to meet soon.
In 2020, there were three vacant seats and no applications received. Jeff Purcell, who had applied to another board but not appointed, was interested in a seat on the BOA and appointed last April. Since then the BOA members were contacted for availability, and one former board member wanted to be considered for reappointment and one member of the public expressed interest.
The following are recommended for appointment to the BOA.
Joshua VanAuken applied in 2020 to OSTAB but was not appointed. He has been actively checking in for board vacancies to become more involved with the community. His term would end in 2022.
Andrew Horovitz was a former BOA member whose term ended in 2020 and would like to be considered for reappointment through 2023.
