SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
To address the fast-changing landscape of the Internet and the way people communicate and obtain information online, individuals sitting on Town boards and commissions may consider using social media tools to reach a broader audience. The Town encourages the use of social media to further the goals of these boards and commissions, where appropriate, but proposes this Policy to establish guidelines for the use of social media.
