Approve the Resolution on amending the Lease Agreement with the Diana Shannon Living Trust for 130 Wells Street, Erie, Colorado
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Town entered into a lease agreement with Diana Shannon Living Trust for 130 Wells Street in downtown Erie to provide a location for the winter Ice Rink. That lease was for 3 months, the anticipated period for operating the Ice Rink this year. This amendment extends the term of the original agreement from 3 months to 3 years. The property owner supports this extension as she does not intend to develop this property for the next three years and the Town hopes to activate this site with additional seasonal recreational uses, including the ice rink during winter months for the next three years.
