Recommendation
Determine the candidates who will be appointed to each of the respective seats on the Airport Economic Development Advisory Board, and approve the Resolution appointing said members.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
During the Board of Trustees May 12 meeting, some Board members expressed interest in forming an Airport advisory board. During the Board's June 2 and July 14 meetings, as well as during the Board's August 4 study session, the Board discussed the purpose, composition, duties and membership of the advisory board. During the Board's August 11 meeting, the Board adopted Ordinance 20-??? establishing the 7-member Airport Economic Development Advisory Board.
The Ordinance requires at least three (3) members to have specific professional experience in economic development and at least three (3) members to have specific aviation experience; if someone has both economic development and aviation experience they can satisfy both requirements. To ensure staggered terms for members so the entire Advisory Board is not term limited at the same time, the Ordinance also provides for four (4) members initially appointed for four (4) year terms, and three (3) members initially appointed for two (2) year terms.
On August 28 the Town began advertising for applicants to serve on the AED Board, and by the September 16 deadline had receives 18 applications.
The attached Resolution provides for the appointments to this advisory board.
