SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
To increase transparency, accountability and inform the Board and public, the Economic Development staff has created an economic development quarterly update. Staff will give this presentation each quarter going forward. The quarterly update will highlight the status of the Department’s current projects and planned activities, business retention and expansion efforts, the Town’s economic development partners’ achievements and some high-level data on Erie’s labor market and demographics.
