SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The property is located north of HWY 7 between 119th Street and County Line Road. The property is approximately 245 acres in size and is currently zoned LR - Low Density Residential with some portions zoned PUD Overlay.
The land use application request is to amend the existing Parkdale PUD Overlay Map, Amendment No. 1 to add additional planning villages, create architectural standards for paired homes, amend the existing dimensional chart and provide general cleanup of the document. The properties that make up the Parkdale PUD were annexed into the Town in 2016/2017. The Preliminary Plat and original PUD were approved in 2018. Multiple Final Plats and Site Plans are under review concurrently with this PUD Amendment No. 2 application. The Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the application on April 15, 2020
