Resolution to approve the IGA with Boulder County, have appropriate Town Officer execute said IGA, and direct appropriate staff to process reimbursement for funds expended.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Erie is partnering with Boulder County to develop a conceptual plan for a future BRT Stop in the vicinity of SH7/Arapahoe Road/US287. The stop is being evaluated for connectivity and integration into the future developments of this area. Erie has contracted Fox Tuttle to prepare conceptual level BRT Stop plans, and the Town of Erie and Boulder County will execute an IGA to share the expense for this conceptual plan. To meet certain deadlines related to the Nine Mile development, Erie paid for this work up front with the understanding Boulder County would reimburse Erie for half of the cost. The IGA formalizes this understanding.

Background:
The Town of Erie and Boulder County want to improve the efficiency and comfort of transit stops on the SH7 and US 287 BRT routes. The Town and the County believe there will be a mutual benefit to residents of the Town and the County by developing a future BRT Stop in the vicinity of SH7/US287/Arapahoe Road area.
