SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Board of Trustees authorized $35,000 in the 2020 Budget for management of the Erie Farmers Markets and Neighborhood Block Parties. This event series, which takes place seasonally from May to September, continues to be successful and is well received by the community. The events also provide economic activation for the Old Town area which is an ongoing goal for the Town. Kelly Enterprises, LTD has successfully managed these events in cooperation with the Town since 2016. Tonight’s agenda item for the Board is the consideration of an agreement with Kelly Enterprise, LTD to host the 2020 Erie Farmers Markets and Neighborhood Block Parties.
