SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Town of Erie Unified Development Code Chapter 12 - Oil and Gas Regulations are currently undergoing revision and a complete update is forthcoming. Prior to the full revision the Board of Trustees requested a section be added to address regulations related to current oil and gas operations within the Town Of Erie. The proposed UDC Amendment will add a new section 10.12.6 concerning existing oil and gas operations in the Town.
Staff has worked closely with the Town’s oil and gas counsel, Barb Greene of Sullivan Green Seavy on the amendment and supports the proposed UDC Amendment.
