Approve resolution authorizing an inter-governmental agreement with Boulder County for 2020 Youth Corps Services in the amount of $15,900.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
In 2016, the Parks and Open Space Division of the Parks & Recreation Department was the beneficiary of work completed by the Boulder County Youth Corps through a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado. The outcome of 2016 experience proved so beneficial, for the Town and our local youth participants, that staff chose to continue the contractual relationship for seasonal projects in 2017 through 2019. Staff again would like to contract directly with Boulder County Youth Corps for open space and trail maintenance projects in 2020. The Parks & Recreation Department operating budget for 2020 includes funds for these services.
Town staff is ready to begin planning projects for the 2020 Youth Corps participants and are seeking Board approval for this year’s intergovernmental agreement with Boulder County Youth Corps.
