SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

Below is a list of action items, topics and tasks that have the attention and/or are being worked on by Farrell Buller, Local Government Designee (LGD), and the Town’s oil and gas consultant, CGRS.

                     Beginning visual inspection process of wells

o                     These are currently being scheduled and will likely be completed by the end of the first quarter

                     Improvements to Town website information regarding oil and gas activity

o                     Implemented use of consistent wording and mapping updates to the community

o                     Most recent updates to the interactive map include:

§                     Current and future anticipated activity

§                     Annual activity (2019 and 2020)

§                     Clear identification of activity within Town limits and activity that is outside Town limits but within the jurisdiction of Boulder County and/or Weld County

                     Air monitoring being conducted by Crestone Peak Resources (see attached)

o                     Canary air monitoring will be on the following sites in Erie: Pratt, Waste Connections, Cosslett, Woolley Becky & Morgan Hills. The roll out will be phased.

                     Working with regional LGD group

                     Continued participation in several rule making groups

                     Holding regular meetings with larger operators working in or near Erie
