SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Proposed is an amendment to the Unified Development Code Section 10.7.7 to allow for annexation subdivision plats. New Subsection G. provides the “Procedure for Review of Annexation Subdivisions”. The new procedure is needed so that applicants can submit a subdivision plat, at the time of annexation, when multiple zone districts are being requested as part of the initial zoning for the property. Currently, the UDC does not provide for a subdivision process at the time of annexation.
