SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Town of Erie Skiba Amendment Final Plat is located in downtown Erie at 526 Briggs Street. The project proposal calls for combining multiple legal lots into one legal lot. The original lots were platted with the original Town of Erie subdivision. The outcome will be one legal lot that is approximately a quarter acre in size.
A Site Plan is concurrently under review with the Minor Plat Amendment. The applicant is expanding the existing building located at 526 Briggs Street for the purpose of establishing a new restaurant. Because the expansion is an increase of gross floor area by more than 10% of the existing building, an administrative Site Plan is required.
A Development Agreement has been drafted to accompany the Final Plat which includes cost estimates for associated public infrastructure. For this project, installation of storm sewer infrastructure is required.
