SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The plat would allow the Town to accept dedications on the Front Range Landfill Minor Subdivision, 1st Amendment, which includes 2 lots on 17.704 acres. The final plat is located on the southwest corner of WCR 6 and WCR 7. The property is zoned PLI (Public Land and Institutions). Lot 1 is owned by the Town of Erie. The Town sold Lot 2 to United Power, but the property was never subdivided. Approving this subdivision application would correct that oversight. Lot 2 is also under review for a Special Review Use (SRU) and Site Plan for an electrical utility substation. The Special Review Use and Site Plan for the electrical substation will be reviewed through public hearing later on the 12/10/19 agenda. The dedication of the easement consists of thirty feet, and will be for utilities and a landscape buffer on Lot 1.
