SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
At the October 1, 2019 study session the Board was provided with the initial budget request for 2020. From this discussion and subsequent communication from the Board additional information is being presented this evening related to the following topics:
• Finalization of the 2020 budget
• Additional Police Department staffing
• Economic Development planning
• The 2020 work plan priorities
The 2020 budget request will be presented to the Board for final approval at the October 22nd Board meeting.
