SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On July 31, 2019, the Indian Peaks Chapter formally requested to construct a Veterans’ Memorial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
The Indian Peaks Chapter would be responsible for working with the Town of Erie to determine the size and details of the Veterans’ Memorial, raising the necessary funds to create a memorial, and coordinate a celebration to unveil the memorial.
