SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Montgomery Drive Road Closure.
As part of the Erie Parkway Bridge Project, Erie Parkway east of the bridge will be reconstructed. This reconstruction will require the closure of Montgomery Drive. Weather permitting the closure is scheduled to begin July 24, 2019 and re-open on July 31, 2019. Local traffic will be diverted south on Montgomery to the roundabout at the intersection of Montgomery Drive, Lehigh Circle and Bonanza Drive. At the roundabout all vehicles wanting to reach Erie Parkway will take Bonanza Drive east, then continue north on Bonanza Drive to the signalized intersection at Erie Parkway.
Colliers Parkway Road Closure.
The Collier’s Hill developer is needing to do repair work to parts of Colliers Parkway in order to achieve final acceptance for the road. This work will require the closure of Colliers Parkway between Horizon Boulevard and WCR 5. Weather permitting the closure is scheduled to begin August 5th, 2019 and be completed by August 9th, 2019. Refer to detour map for alternate routes.
The Town will send out a notification and the contractor will install message boards notifying drivers of the closure.
