Approve the resolution to approve said agreement, authorizing the appropriate Town Officer to execute said agreement, and authorize staff to expend funds.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Erie Community Center roof top HVAC unit that supplies heating and cooling to the pool area is nearing the end of its service life. This unit was proposed to be replaced in 2020 budget with two units to ensure redundancy. Recently the compressors in the existing unit failed. It can still exhaust air and introduce fresh air, but without functioning compressors the humidity will not be controlled.
The Town received a quote from our current contractor, Haynes Mechanical, to replace the compressors and ensure a comfortable environment for recreation center patrons. The total cost of the repair is $30,900. Staff has already placed the order for the parts, which was just under $25,000 and within the Town Administrator’s authority to approve. We anticipate these repairs will be complete by mid-July.
