SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
This ordinance will establish and maintain a local emergency management agency to effectively address emergencies. The Town Administrator will be appointed as the Emergency Manager. This ordinance also gives the Mayor the authorization to declare that an emergency event exists.
