SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Attached is the information we sent to engineering firms we have had relationships with in the past that have the capacity to perform a traffic and parking analysis for the Historic Old Town. We sent this information to three firms in hopes we could get a ball park figure of how much a study like this would cost. So far these firms have quoted figures below $25,000. Our goal after receiving information from all firms is to request a formal quote and select a firm (given the cost is under $25,000 we do not have to issue a formal RFP) and proceed to complete a comprehensive analysis of existing and potential parking solutions for the Historic Old Town and an analysis of the traffic impact of the introduction of the Moffatt Bridge.
