Approve the Resolution to award said contract, authorize the appropriate Town officer to execute said contract, and authorize Staff to expend contracted fund.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The 2019 operating budget includes funds for contracted mowing services in the Town of Erie. These services include mowing, trimming, and debris removal services at the South Water Reclamation Facility, Water Treatment Facility, Cemetery, Erie Lake, Northridge Detention, and Coal Creek Levee, Highway 7 and Bonanza Drive.
Staff requested competing bids for this service, however, this is the only bid received for this service. Staff recommends awarding the contract to CoCal Landscape. CoCal Landscape has previously completed this service for the Town of Erie, the price is comparable to past years, and using CoCal will be less expensive than hiring staff directly to provide the services covered by the contract.
