SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The 2018 budget approved by the Board of Trustees included funds for the purchase of Toughbook computers for the Police Department. At this time ten Toughbooks are nearly six years old, placing them at the end of their useful life and in need of replacement.
The IT Department has obtained the attached quote from CDW-G. CDW-G is the state bid provider for Panasonic Toughbooks and per the 2017 Town of Erie Purchasing Policy no formal bidding process is required.
