Approve resolution to enter into contract with Strategic Government Resources and appropriate funds.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

 

Town staff was directed by the Board of Trustees to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an Executive Search Firm to conduct the recruiting process for a new Town Administrator. The RFP was issued on May 29, 2018 with proposals due on June 21, 2018. The following nine firms submitted proposals:

                     Austin Peters Group

                     CPS HR Consulting

                     GovHR Consulting

                     KRW

                     Strategic Government Resources (SGR)

                     Springsted - Waters

                     The Mercer Group

                     The Novak Consulting Group

                     Zilo International Group

After review, rating by staff and the Board of Trustees, and consultation with Sam Mamet of the Colorado Municipal League Strategic Government Resources (SGR) was chosen as the preferred firm to conduct the search process. Staff completed negotiations with SGR and the attached contract of not to exceed $28,000.00 was agreed upon. 

The search process will commence upon final execution of the contract.
