SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
In the 2018 budget the Board of Trustees approved funds in the legislative budget line item “Grants to Outside Agencies” for support of the Colorado National Golf Club fireworks display. Over the years the July 3rd Fireworks display, hosted by Colorado National Golf Club, has become a signature event in Erie, much like the Town Fair. Special events, hosted by community organizations provide an economic benefit to the Town when the visitors visit our local businesses and have a chance to experience all Erie has to offer.
