Approve resolution authorizing a Joint Use Agreement between the Aspen Ridge Preparatory School and the Town of Erie

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The current Joint Use Agreement (JUA) between the Town of Erie and Aspen Ridge Preparatory School (ARPS) expires on May 30, 2018. With the continued high demand of Camp Erie (the Parks & Recreation’s state licensed summer day camp program) the use of JUA between the Town and ARPS serves to maximize this and similar services through the use of additional facility spaces. This successful agreement is mutually beneficial and both parties wish to continue the joint use of facilities as previously agreed.
The agreement was approved by the appropriate ARPS official on April 23, 2018 and is attached here for approval. The term of the agreement will be from May 31, 2018 through May 30, 2019.
