SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The proposed ordinance provides that it is unlawful for any person to use any projectile weapon (defined in the ordinance) in any town park or recreation facility, unless specifically authorized by the parks and recreation director. At this time, this matter is not specifically addressed in the municipal code.
