SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The 2018 General Fund Streets Capital Budget includes funds for repair services to concrete throughout the Town, including curb, cross pans and handicapped ramps. The Bid Form includes estimated quantities of needed repairs using previous actual information. Please note these are estimates and may vary +/- 10%. There may be additional work requested from the awarded Contractor outside of the Bid Form.
The Town intends to issue to the successful bidder an on-going maintenance Agreement For Services, along with "emergency repairs" as needed, for 2018, with the option to extend the Agreement for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. All work considered an "emergency repair" or additionally assigned shall be completed within an agreed upon time period of notification within the budgeted amount.
An Invitation to Bid was sent out and posted on the Town's website on March 22, 2018. One complete bid was received on April 12, 2018.
The low bidder is Can-Do Concrete, located in Greeley and has completed work for the Cities of Greeley, Platteville, Ft Collins, and Ft Morgan. No bids were received from local vendors.
