SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Beginning March 19, 2018 through April 2, 2018, weather permitting, the intersection of WCR 6 and WCR 7 will be closed. The closure is for a water line tie-in as part of the Crestone Hub Facility. The detour route will be Erie Parkway to the north, WCR 5 to the west, East I-25 Frontage Road to the east, and Highway 7 to the south.
In order to complete the work safely and effectively, the contractor believes closures of the roadway is required. Staff has reviewed their closure request and agrees that the closure is the most efficient, and more importantly, safest approach.
