SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On January 10, 2018, legal counsel for the Sierra Vista Metropolitan District informed the Town of Erie of its intent to dissolve the District and requested the Town of Erie’s consent. In accordance with Colorado statutes, the Town of Erie, as the District’s governing authority, is required to consent to the dissolution of the Metropolitan District. A resolution is provided for the Board of Trustees’ consideration consenting to the dissolution.
