Approve resolution authorizing a contract with The Slide Experts, Inc. for the Erie Community Center Water Slide and Tower Restoration Project and authorize the Town Administrator to sign said contract.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
In the 2018 budget, the Board of Trustees authorized $63,500 for the restoration of the Water Slide at the Erie Community Center (ECC). Staff has determined that the slide is in need of restoration based on the following criteria:
* Age - The slide is 10 years old and is in need of refurbishment to avoid any significant repairs and possible safety issues that can lead to injury and shut down
* Wear and Tear - The slide is in need of a new gel coat (needs to be done about every 10 years), new hardware (bolts, washers, and nuts) to replace rusted hardware, and new caulking to fix leaks
* Stains - Age and chemicals from pool have led to discoloration of flume and chemical build up on the inside and outside of flume
* Repairs - To fix all leaks that are unreachable for aquatics staff, repair chipping and rusting of slide stairs, repainting of slide structure supports
Areas of restoration include: Erie Community Center Pool Water Slide and Slide Tower
