SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Beginning November 16, 2017 through December 15, 2017, weather permitting, 111th Street will be closed between Erie Parkway and Dickens Street. The closure is for the construction of the new connection of Flatiron Meadows Boulevard to the existing 111th Street as part of the Flatiron Meadows Subdivision. The detour route will be Erie Parkway to the north, Highway 287 to the west, and Arapahoe Road to the south.
In order to complete the work safely and effectively, the contractor believes closures of the roadway is required. Staff has reviewed their closure requests and agrees that the closure is the most efficient, and more importantly, safest approach.
