SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Wise Family is in the process of demolishing three of the historic landmarked buildings on their property. The COA does not amend the designation, but it appears, according to the ordinance, that the applicant should not start work without an “approved” COA.
Please see the very last page of the COA. All three actions have been combined into one sign-off form since they are requesting to do exactly the same thing to all 3 buildings. You will see the EHPAB recommendation there. Similar to the EHPAB, the BOT should also vote to “Approve, Approve with Conditions, or Disapprove. “ The BOT has the final authority.
