SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On October 11, 2017 the Erie Optimist Club submitted a Community Organization Grant Request Form to the Town Clerk’s Office seeking a $2,000.00 sponsorship for the 35th Annual Erie Erie 5K/10/400M Goblin Run. Funds are included in the 2017 Budget for this event.
During the April 9, 2013 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board approved the amended Policy and Procedures for Grants to the Community Organizations to include criteria for promotion and in-kind support of Town Sponsored and Town Endorsed events. The amended policy allows the Board to consider requests on a case by case basis.
